Create a Shortcut to Lock Your Computer




Hi friends if we want to lock our system then in that case we will manualy press Ctrl+Alt+Del or wait for the screen saver to lock or windows key+L but we have another cool way to lock our system and all we have to do is just a double click on a icon and automatically our system will lock. just do the following steps.

Step 1 : Right click on the desktop and select New –> Shortcut
Step 2 : In the “Create Shortcut Wizard” type the following command
“rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation” (without quotes)
Step 3 : Now click Next and enter the name for the shortcut.
Step 4 : Click the shortcut the system will lock.

if you want to change the icon of the shortcut then follow this

Step 1 : Right click on the shortcut and click on properties
Step 2 : Under the shortcut tab click on the Change Icon button.
Step 3 : In the Look for icons in this file text box, type: Shell32.dll Click OK
Step 4 : Repeat Step 2 and select the icon and then click apply.
